DU UG Admission 2026: 9 New Colleges Add Merit-Based Seats

Delhi University (DU) has expanded merit-based undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session . Nine additional colleges will now offer seats based on Class 12 marks. This expansion allows more students to secure admission without the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

The university issued a public notice on August 23, 2026 , confirming the changes. This follows an earlier announcement on August 21, 2026. Interested candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria for each program and college.

These nine colleges are now accepting applications for specific undergraduate programs using Class 12 performance. Students should check the individual college websites for detailed information.
