The University of Delhi (DU) began its 2026 Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) trials today, July 16. These trials are for undergraduate admissions through the ECA quota. Physical trials will continue until July 25 across designated Delhi colleges. Admissions consider both CUET UG scores and ECA trial performance.
The ECA Quota allows admission for students with achievements in areas like music, theater, dance, digital media, debate, and fine arts. The university released a schedule for these trials.

DU ECA Admission 2026: Selection Process
Admission under the ECA Quota uses a weighted system. 75% weightage is given to ECA certificates and physical trial performance. The remaining 25% weightage is for the CUET UG 2026 score.
Candidates applying for NCC and NSS categories do not have physical trials. Their evaluation follows university criteria. After trials conclude, DU evaluates candidates based on trial results, ECA achievements, and CUET UG scores.
