The third round of DU's CSAS admissions process for the 2025–2026 academic year has begun. Mid-entry applications, category-based admissions, seat upgrades, and new seat allocation are all introduced in this phase.
Students who want to re-enter the admissions process or upgrade their already assigned seats are eligible to take the third round of CSAS. Additionally, it accepts applications under special categories such as ward quota, extracurricular activities (ECA), sports quota, and children or widows of armed services soldiers (CW).
Reorder Your Preferences & Upgrade Seats
College-course combinations can now be upgraded for students who were admitted in either Round I or II of the CSAS. For this purpose, a certain window has been made accessible, which runs from August 2 from 5 PM until August 3 at 4:59 PM. Students are required to indicate if they want to upgrade during this time, and they are also free to rearrange their preference lists as necessary. Following the end of this time, individual institutions will start the process of assigning new or upgraded seats in accordance with the updated preferences and availability.
Correction and Mid-Entry Option
Additionally, the university will have a mid-entry window from August 8 at 5 PM to August 10 at 4:59 PM. Students who were unable to participate in the first CSAS phase, those who were unable to finish the second phase, or those whose prior submissions were denied because of inaccurate paperwork or topic mapping issues are the target audience for this facility.
Students who apply during the mid-entry period are required to pay a Rs 1,000 non-refundable fee. They will be permitted to amend their course preferences and make changes to their subject-related information. Under this clause, candidates who were not given a place in the earlier rounds may also apply.

Students have been advised to finalise their course and college preferences based on the updated vacancy matrix before 5 PM on August 10. Preferences submitted by this time will be considered for the next round of seat allocation.
