Delhi University (DU) released its first undergraduate allocation list on July 16, 2026 . The list covers admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). A total of 93,033 students received allocations across 67 DU colleges. Admission cutoffs for top colleges remain high, particularly for the Unreserved (UR) category.
The Unreserved category saw a fill rate of 99.9% in the first round. Major reserved categories also showed high fill rates. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) category reached 96% . Scheduled Caste (SC) had a fill rate of 95.2% . Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) filled 92.7% of seats. Scheduled Tribe (ST) achieved a fill rate of 67.3% .
Important Deadlines for Allotted Candidates
Students who received an allocation must accept their seat on the CSAS portal (ugadmission.uod.ac.in). The deadline to accept is July 18, 2026 . Colleges will then verify documents.
The final date for candidates to pay their provisional admission fees online is July 21, 2026 . This payment window closes at 11:59 PM.
Candidates seeking better course preferences can opt for the "Upgrade" option. This must be done before the second allocation list is released on July 25, 2026 .
