Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal has received 1.42 lakh registrations for undergraduate admissions. This marks the beginning of Phase 2, where students select their preferred college and course combinations.
Preference Filling Underway
Over 43,500 candidates have already confirmed their college and course choices within the first 48 hours of Phase 2. This indicates a significant number of applicants have finalized their academic paths.
High Competition Expected
Delhi University offers approximately 71,000 seats across 67 colleges. The high registration numbers suggest a competitive admission cycle for the 2026 academic year.
Seat allocation is based on a candidate's CUET-UG score and their specific course preferences submitted through the CSAS portal. University officials urge remaining applicants to carefully review their subject mapping criteria before the deadline.
