Admission Criteria and Age Limits
Eligibility for the EWS category requires an annual family income below Rs 5 lakh . The DG category covers children from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC, Non-Creamy Layer), orphans, transgender children, and those affected by HIV.
Age limits for the 2026-2027 admissions are:

These age limits are as of March 1, 2026 . CWSN category age limits are more flexible.
