The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued strict dress code and exam day guidelines for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026. The NTA emphasized adherence to these rules to ensure exam integrity. Lakhs of students are expected to take the exam nationwide.
CUET UG 2026 Dress Code
Candidates must wear light-colored, half-sleeved clothing. Avoid clothes with large buttons, embroidery, or pockets. Footwear should be limited to slippers or low-heeled sandals. Shoes and boots are prohibited.
Students requiring specific religious or customary attire must report to the exam center one hour before the standard reporting time. This allows for a thorough frisking process.
