The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session will close soon. Students interested in becoming teachers must complete their online application by December 18 . This test is important for those who want to teach in schools across India. All applicants need to visit the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in , to fill out their forms.

The CTET exam helps decide if a person is fit to be a teacher for Class 1 to 8. There are two papers: Paper 1 for those who want to teach Class 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for those who want to teach Class 6 to 8. Many students choose to appear for both papers to increase their teaching opportunities.

To apply, candidates need to provide personal details such as their name, contact information, address, and set a password. It is important to match all details with what is printed on their Class 10 passing certificate or marksheet to avoid any problems later. Misinformation can lead to application rejection.
