The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) released the CSAB Special Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026 today, August 12, 2026. The results are available on the official website, csab.nic.in. This is the final round of CSAB Special Counseling. It aims to fill remaining engineering seats in national technical institutes.
Participating institutes include NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur, SPAs, and GFTIs. Seat allocation considered JEE (Main) 2026 ranks. Candidate preferences and available seats after JoSAA and CSAB Round 1 also factored in. The CSAB also published Round 2 Opening and Closing Ranks (OR-CR). These show category-wise cutoff marks and rank ranges for engineering courses.
How to Check Results and Cutoffs
Candidates can check their allotment on csab.nic.in. Log in using your JEE Main application number, password, and security pin. The website will display the allotted college and engineering discipline. A provisional seat allotment letter will be generated. Print this for reporting procedures.
