Registration for the CSAB 2026 Special Round is now open. The counselling process aims to fill vacant seats in IIITs, NITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Candidates must register even if they participated in JoSAA counselling. Previous choices do not carry over; a new list of preferred colleges and courses is required.
The deadline to apply for the CSAB 2026 Special Round is August 3, 2026 . After fee payment, students can select and lock their choices. The choice locking deadline is August 5, 2026 . Choices saved most recently before the deadline will be automatically locked.
Eligibility for the CSAB Special Round is extended to all qualified JEE Main 2026 candidates.
