The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has launched the Corporate Mitra Scheme 2026 . This program aims to train professionals to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The scheme was announced as part of the Union Budget 2026-27.
Program Details
The Corporate Mitra Scheme offers approximately 150 hours of online academic learning. This is followed by a six-month on-the-job training period. Graduates and final-year students can gain practical knowledge. Areas covered include accounting, taxation, banking, financial management, and legal compliance.
Partnerships and Training
IIT Madras, IIT Pravartak, Swayam Plus, ICAI, ICSI, and ICoAI are involved. An Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on June 25, 2026 . Academic support comes from ICAI, ICSI, and ICoAI. Learning modules will be delivered via the Swayam Plus portal nationwide.
Eligibility Criteria
The scheme is open to Indian nationals. Applicants must be under 30 years of age. Graduates or final-year graduation students are eligible. This program prepares individuals for professional work with businesses.
Fees and Registration
The course fee is ₹3,000 plus GST . A 50% concession is available for women and students from specific regions. These regions include North Eastern States, Himalayan Regions, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.
