The deadline for BTech Round 1 choice filling in the COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling process has been extended to July 24, 2026 , at 2 PM. Qualified candidates can now select their preferred engineering colleges and courses on the official COMEDK website, comedk.org.

Seat Availability and Fee Structure
COMEDK has released the final seat matrix and fee details for engineering programs. A total of 24,576 seats are available for BTech admissions. Of these, 20,837 seats are for General Merit (GM) candidates. Another 3,739 seats are reserved for candidates from the Kalyan Karnataka Region (KKR).
Eligibility for KKR seats requires an approved 371J certificate. GM seats are open to all candidates, including SC, ST, OBC, and General categories, excluding KKR candidates.
Tuition fees vary by institution. Some colleges offer seats starting at Rs 60,000 annually. Other programs may cost over Rs 3 lakh per year. Colleges offering specialized skill lab facilities might charge additional fees. These range from Rs 10,000 to a maximum of Rs 20,000 per student annually, subject to VTU approval and facility type.
