The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 provisional answer keys were released on December 10 at 5 PM . This is for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses. Along with the answer keys, the online window to raise objections has also opened. Students who appeared for the CLAT 2026 exam can now check their answers and challenge any incorrect questions or answers they find. The last date to submit these objections is December 12 .

What is CLAT?

CLAT is a national-level exam in India. It is for students who want to study law at one of the National Law Universities (NLUs) in the country. Thousands of students take this exam every year to get admission into law colleges. The CLAT 2026 exam was held on December 7 across various centres in India.

Why is the Answer Key Important?

The provisional answer key helps students calculate their likely scores before the final results are out. By comparing their marked answers with the provisional answer key, students can get an idea of how they performed. If a student believes there is a mistake in any answer provided by the exam body, they can challenge it through the objection window.
