Application and Selection
Teachers must apply online via the official Olympiad website. HBCSE will prioritize new applicants over those who have previously attended the Chemistry Olympiad Exposure Camp.
The list of selected teachers is scheduled for announcement on September 18, 2026 . This list will be published on the official HBCSE website and the Olympiad website for easy access.
Camp Objectives and Benefits
The camp aims to share Olympiad-related learning with teachers. Sessions will focus on chemistry teaching and learning. This includes both theoretical concepts and practical experiments relevant to the Olympiad.
Participants will receive Indian Olympiad chemistry problems prior to the camp. Each teacher must solve at least one problem and be prepared to discuss its teaching value. This ensures a practical, classroom-applicable learning experience.
Financial and Logistical Support
HBCSE will cover round-trip travel expenses for selected teachers. Reimbursement is limited to the maximum II AC train fare. Teachers must book tickets through designated travel agencies to qualify for reimbursement.
Accommodation and food will be provided for all shortlisted teachers. This support is available for the entire duration of the camp at the HBCSE Guest House.
