Government Medical College, Chandigarh (GMCH) has opened registration for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling. Candidates seeking admission to three-year MD and MS postgraduate courses must register and submit documents by November 10, 2025, at 5 PM . Applications are accepted online through the official website, gmch.gov.in.
A total of 79 MD and MS seats are available under the state quota. This includes four seats reserved under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota. Academic classes for the new batch are scheduled to begin on December 8, 2025 .
NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Important Dates
GMCH has outlined a clear schedule for the counselling process. A list of candidates with document deficiencies will be displayed between November 11 and 12, 2025 . These students must submit their pending certificates on November 13, 2025 . The final list of eligible candidates for seat allotment will be published on November 15, 2025 .
Application Fee Details
The application fee varies by category. General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates must pay Rs 2,000 . Scheduled Caste (SC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and third-gender applicants are required to submit Rs 1,000 .
Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship satisfactorily by July 31, 2025 . This is a mandatory requirement for admission to the MD and MS programs.
