The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has officially announced the Second Main Opportunity Examination 2025 for students of CGBSE Class 10 and CGBSE Class 12. This supplementary exam is aimed at students who could not pass in one or two subjects during the regular board examinations conducted earlier this year.
Second Chance for Academic Success
The second main exam acts as a crucial opportunity for students to clear their failed subjects and secure a pass certificate without waiting an entire academic session. The exams will be held in July 2025, across various designated centers, in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

This year, a total of 8,15,364 students appeared for the CGBSE Class 10 and 12 regular board examinations. Out of these, 4,75,648 students successfully cleared the exams.
CGBSE Class 10 Pass Percentage: 75.61%
CGBSE Class 12 Pass Percentage: 82.72%
Students are advised to carefully review the date sheet and prepare accordingly. Admit cards and center-wise details for the second main exam will be released shortly on the official website cgbse.nic.in.
