The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened its online portal for Class 12 revaluation today, June 1. Students can now apply to have their exam answer scripts rechecked if they suspect errors in their marks.
Revaluation Process Opens
The CBSE launched the portal to ensure fairness and transparency in the examination process. The board announced the opening date yesterday. This allows students to request a review of their evaluated answer sheets.
How to Apply for Revaluation
Students must follow a specific procedure once the portal is active:
- Visit the official CBSE website.
- Click on the 'Post Result Activities' link.
- Log in using your roll number and other required details.
- Select either 'Verification of Marks' or 'Re-evaluation'.
- Choose the subject(s) for review and enter details.
- For re-evaluation, specify the question numbers to be reviewed.
- Pay the applicable fee online.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation.
Fees for Revaluation Services
Applicants must pay fees online for verification and re-evaluation services. The fee structure is as follows:
