Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools in West Asia began uploading Class 12 internal assessment and theory marks on April 8, 2026. The deadline for submission is April 17, 2026 . This process follows the cancellation of several board examinations in the region due to ongoing conflicts. A special assessment scheme is in place to ensure timely results.
Special Assessment Scheme Details
For subjects where exams were canceled, schools will use internal evaluations from the academic year. For theory papers with a maximum of 80 or 70 marks, scores from quarterly, half-yearly, and final pre-board exams will be considered. The highest three scores will determine the final marks.
For theory papers with maximum marks of 60, 50, or 30, only the final pre-board exam performance will be used. If a student missed the final pre-board, marks from the preceding pre-board exam will be applied.
Data Submission Guidelines
Schools must submit all data accurately. The National Testing Agency (NTA) stressed the importance of caution during data entry. Errors could impact student futures. The submission portal is now open for schools in West Asia.
The CBSE has set a strict deadline of April 17. No late entries or corrections will be accepted after this date. The board aims to release West Asian student results concurrently with national results.
