The application window for CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation closes on June 6, 2026 . The Central Board of Secondary Education has received 70,433 applications for the process. This includes 7,314 requests for mark verification and 63,119 applications for re-evaluation.
The CBSE activated the re-evaluation facility on June 2. It is available to students who have already received scanned copies of their evaluated answer booklets. Students can apply for either verification of existing issues or a re-evaluation of specific answers.
CBSE has stated that all applications must be submitted online. No offline applications will be accepted. Students must visit the official CBSE website to complete the application and pay the required fees.
Cyber Attack During Application Window
CBSE confirmed its systems experienced a denial-of-service cyber attack during the application period. The board stated the attack was successfully blocked. The technical team is monitoring system performance and making improvements for a smoother student experience.
Re-evaluation Details and Deadlines
The re-evaluation process is open only to students who have obtained their scanned answer sheets. The deadline to apply is midnight on June 6, 2026. Students must use the online portal for all submissions.

Application Fees
The fee for verification of marks is ₹100 per answer book . The fee for re-evaluation is ₹25 per question . Payments can be made via UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Aadhaar Authentication for Security
CBSE has implemented Aadhaar authentication on the portal for enhanced security. If a student does not have an Aadhaar card, details from a parent, relative, or guardian can be used. This measure aims to strengthen identity checks during high traffic periods.
Students are advised to carefully review their scanned answer copies. They should select the correct questions or issues for review. Applications must be submitted online before the June 6 deadline.
