CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 Expected Soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the Class 10 second board exam results. This exam took place from May 15 to May 21, 2026. The results are expected soon.

Students who took the Phase 2 exam can check their scores on the official CBSE website. The board introduced two examinations for Class 10 this year. The main exam occurred from February 17 to March 11, 2026. Its results were announced on April 15, 2026.

Phase 1 Results Show Strong Performance

In the main Class 10 exam, 24,83,479 students registered. A total of 24,71,777 students appeared. The pass percentage for this exam was 93.70%. This showed a small increase of 0.04% compared to previous years.

A significant number of students achieved high scores in the main examination. Over 2.21 lakh students scored 90% or higher. Additionally, 55,368 students achieved 95% and above.

Achieving a score of 90% and above is beneficial for students aiming for science and commerce streams in Class 11. These streams are highly competitive. High scores improve chances for admission into sought-after schools affiliated with CBSE.

Second Board Exam Result Awaited

Over 6.68 lakh students reportedly appeared for the Class 10 second board examination. This includes students who registered for compartment exams and improvement exams. The delay in the Phase 2 results is attributed to the process of considering the best of two scores. Students who appeared for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams will have their highest score finalized.

The CBSE Class 10 second board exam was conducted in May. Official confirmation of the result announcement date and time is still pending. Students are advised to monitor the official CBSE website for the latest updates. The combined results will determine the final topper list.
