The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released Class 10 results for 2026 on [Insert Date of Release]. A total of 24.17 lakh students took the examinations. While CBSE does not announce individual toppers, the board reported that 55,368 students achieved 95% or above. Another 2,21,574 students scored 90% and above.
CBSE will award a certificate of merit to students scoring in the top 0.1% within each subject. The board confirmed it will conduct a second set of board examinations in May. The results released today are provisional. Final results will be announced after the May examinations.
Performance Statistics
Kendriya Vidyalayas recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.57%. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas followed with 99.42%. Trivandrum led region-wise with a 99.79% pass rate.
