The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 results for the May/Second Board Examination on June 30, 2026 . Results may be available by 4 PM.

Alongside the results, CBSE will issue a combined marksheet and passing certificate. This single document replaces two separate certificates previously issued.

Combined Marksheet and Passing Certificate

The passing certificate confirms successful completion of subjects. It is a key document for academic validation. The marksheet details subject-wise scores. It includes breakdowns for theory and practical exams.

Previously, students received two separate documents. The board now issues one consolidated certificate.

Digital and Physical Documents

The combined certificate will be available digitally on DigiLocker . Physical copies will be sent to schools for student distribution.

Both digital and printed versions are legally valid. Students should collect their original school copy for safekeeping.

Document Contents

The certificate will include:

  • Student's marks.
  • Personal details: name, school name, parent/guardian name, date of birth.
  • Board roll number and school code.
  • Board's seal and signatory's signature.
  • Grading system information.
  • Final result: Pass or Fail.

Important Uses

The Class 10 marksheet-cum-passing certificate is essential. It is required for passport applications. It is also needed for admission to senior secondary schools and higher education.

Result Release and Access

The CBSE Class 10 results are anticipated on June 30, 2026 . The board confirmed results would be released in June.

Results are typically released around 4 PM on official websites. These include cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.gov.in. DigiLocker will also host digital copies.

Physical marksheets usually reach schools within a week of result declaration.

Certificate Revisions

If a student requests a re-evaluation of their result. Any changes will lead to the re-issuance of certificates. The original documents must be returned to the board.
