The CBSE Class 10 main examinations were held from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The second board examinations took place from May 15 to May 21, 2026. Results for the second board exam were announced on July 18, 2026.
Following the result declaration, CBSE opened applications for answer sheet verification and re-evaluation. Students could also request scanned copies of their answer scripts. The deadline to apply for these services was August 19, 2026 .

A total of 6,64,027 candidates registered for the CBSE 10th second board exam. Of these, 6,63,777 candidates appeared. The pass percentage for the Class 10 second board exam 2026 was 96.78% .

Post-Result Facilities Offered
CBSE provided several post-result facilities to students after the main results were announced:
