Second Board Exam Details
The May-June examination period is for students who need to retake exams or improve their scores. These exams are scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026 . Students can improve marks in up to three subjects or pass courses they failed in the initial February exams.
This second exam opportunity is part of the Two-Board System linked with NEP 2020.
Registration and Fees
Schools must submit all registrations today. A late fee of ₹2,000 per candidate is mandatory. This is in addition to the regular subject fees. The standard registration window closed on April 20, 2026.
CBSE states that no changes to student names, subjects, or APAAR IDs will be permitted after the portal closes at midnight. Students can switch between Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic. No other subject changes are allowed.
