Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore may release the notification and open applications this year. The application window will remain open for over a month.
Application Process
Candidates must visit the official CAT website. They will need to register by providing a mobile number, date of birth, and email address. Completing OTP verification confirms registration. Applicants then log in with their generated user ID and password to fill out the application form.
Required Information
The application requires personal details, including name, date of birth, gender, and category. Scanned passport-size photographs and signatures are also necessary. Academic records for Class 10, 12, and Bachelor's degrees are mandatory. Master's or professional degree details are also required.
Work experience details are needed. Applicants must list company names, designations, and employment durations. Gaps or exits from previous jobs should be detailed chronologically. Candidates must also select their preferred Post Graduate Programs (PGP) and Fellow Programs (FPM/PhD) at participating Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). They will also select preferred interview city choices.
Exam City Selection
Applicants can choose up to five preferred exam cities. These choices should be listed in order of priority. The CAT is a computer-based test. Final submission requires agreeing to terms and conditions. Candidates must verify all information accuracy. The registration fee payment finalizes the application.
CAT Exam Pattern
The CAT exam consists of three sections. These are Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The total exam duration is 120 minutes . This test is for admission to MBA or PGDM programs at premier institutions, including IIMs.
