The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is closing the window for answer sheet scrutiny today, May 29, 2026 . Students who took the matric (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) special and compartmental exams can apply for a review of their papers.
This review process, also known as re-evaluation or re-counting, applies to students who believe there are errors in their examination results. The results for these special and compartmental exams were released on May 23, 2026 .
How to Apply for Scrutiny
Students must apply through the official BSEB websites. The application requires the student's Roll Code and Roll Number. Each subject review costs INR 120 .
Applications can be submitted online. Students need to select the subjects they wish to have reviewed. After filling out the application and paying the fee, a confirmation page will be generated.

- Click on the link for 'Apply for scrutiny (Secondary Special and Compartmental Examination 2026)' or the equivalent for Intermediate.
- Register using your Roll Code, Roll Number, and Date of Birth. Create a password.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Select the subject(s) for scrutiny by ticking the checkbox.
- Proceed to the fee payment section.
- Review your application details.
- Submit the application. Save the confirmation page for your records.
