Who Can Apply for BITSAT 2026?

Students must meet certain academic requirements to be eligible for BITSAT 2026:

• Students must have scored at least 75% marks in total in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects in their Class 12 exams.
• Students must also have scored at least 60% marks individually in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Class 12 exams.
• Students who passed their Class 12 exams in 2025 are eligible.
• Students who are appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible.

Important Update on Eligibility:

There is a key change this year. Students who re-attempted their full Class 12 exams are no longer allowed to apply for BITSAT 2026. This means if a student retook all their Class 12 subjects, they might not be eligible.

How to Apply for BITSAT 2026

The application process is entirely online. Follow these simple steps to register for BITSAT 2026:

1. Go to the official BITS admissions website: admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in .
2. Look for the link that says "BITSAT 2026 Registration" and click on it.
3. Complete the basic registration by providing your details and create your login ID and password.
4. Log in using the application number and password you received.
5. Fill out the detailed application form with all the required personal and academic information.
6. Upload copies of your necessary documents, such as your photograph and signature, as per the instructions.
7. Pay the BITSAT 2026 registration fees.

What Happens After Registration for Session 1?

After the registration for BITSAT 2026 Session 1 closes on March 16, 2026, here are the next steps:

• Correction Window: If you made any mistakes in your application form, BITS Pilani will open a correction window from March 18 to March 20, 2026 . You can log in during these dates to fix details in your form.
• Test City Allotment: After the correction window closes, BITS Pilani will announce which city you have been allotted for your exam. The date for this announcement will be shared soon.
