BITS Pilani has reported strong job placements for its students in the first part of the 2025-26 placement season. By December 2025 , more than 920 students from the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses secured full-time job offers. This happened even when many job markets were slow.
Students received high salaries. The average (median) salary across all campuses was ₹28 lakh per year . The Pilani campus had an even higher average salary of ₹30 lakh per year . Goa and Hyderabad campuses also saw good salary offers across different courses.
Top Companies Offer Over ₹1 Crore Jobs
Around 200 companies took part in the placement process at BITS Pilani campuses. Some top offers went above ₹1 crore per year . These came from quantitative trading firms such as Graviton, Quadeye, and IMC Trading.
Specifically at the Pilani campus, six job offers crossed the ₹1 crore mark. Five of these offers were from IMC Trading, and one was from Flow Traders. International companies like MediaTek (Taiwan) and Toyoda Gosei (Japan) also made job offers to students.

Internship Stipends Reach New Highs
Internship opportunities were also very good during this period. The highest international internship stipend was ₹22 lakh per month . This offer came from Tower Research in Northmoor, UK. The highest internship stipend within India was ₹12.5 lakh per month , offered by IMC Trading.
In the first semester, over 650 students secured internships through the institute's program. About 150 students have already received pre-placement offers (PPOs). A PPO is a full-time job offer given to an intern. More such offers are expected to turn into full-time jobs by the end of the academic year.
Many students who interned with investment banking and financial firms later received full-time jobs. These firms included JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Franklin Templeton, Nomura, and UBS. They mainly hired for risk and advisory roles.
Leading Companies from Many Sectors Hired BITS Pilani Students
Many types of companies hired BITS Pilani graduates:
- Global Technology Companies: Google, Microsoft, Walmart, Cisco, and IBM hired students for roles in software development, data science, and cybersecurity.
- Semiconductor Sector: Hiring increased in this sector. Companies like Qualcomm, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, AMD, Micron, ARM, NXP Semiconductors, Infineon Technologies, and Cadence Design Systems hired students. New recruiters included Skyworks, Cyient Semiconductors, and SanDisk.
- Core Engineering: Roles in core engineering also saw good demand. Firms like Skyroot Aerospace, Schneider Electric, and Daimler Trucks India Centre hired for electrical and embedded systems jobs.
- Mechanical and Chemical Engineering: General Electric, Honeywell, Eaton, Volvo Eicher, Tata Advanced Systems, Sona Comstar, Bajaj Auto, and Honda Two Wheelers recruited students.
- Infrastructure and Design: Companies such as ARUP, WSP, Jacobs, AG&E, L&T, and Enfinity Global hired for structural and engineering positions.
- Pharma and Life Sciences: This sector also hired students. Companies like Lilly, Biocon Biologics, Serum Institute, Pharma ACE Analytics, and Enzene Biosciences offered jobs in drug formulation, regulatory affairs, and bioinformatics.
BITS Pilani Dubai Campus Sees Best Placements
The BITS Pilani Dubai campus also completed its 2024-25 placement cycle with strong results. It achieved an 83.5% placement rate . This is its best performance since the 2020-21 academic year.
The Dubai campus received 139 unique job offers from 155 companies . The average (median) salary for students at the Dubai campus was AED 72,000 per year.
