BITS Pilani ISA 2026 Registration Open for Foreign Students

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani has started registration for its International Students Admission (ISA) 2026. This process is for foreign students who wish to join undergraduate programs at BITS Pilani's campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad .

Registration for ISA 2026 began on December 12, 2025 . The last date to apply is April 5, 2026 . Admission will depend on a student's SAT scores . Only students who are citizens of other countries and hold non-Indian passports can apply under the ISA scheme.

How to Apply Online

Follow these steps to complete your ISA 2026 application:

  • Step 1: Visit the BITS Admission website: admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in/FD/FD.html
  • Step 2: Look for the 'notices' section.
  • Step 3: Click on the ' ISA 2026 Application Open ' notice.
  • Step 4: Register on the new page that opens.
  • Step 5: You will receive login details on your registered mobile number and email.
  • Step 6: Use these details to log in to the student portal and fill the form completely.

Eligibility Criteria for BITS Pilani ISA 2026

To apply for ISA 2026, students must meet these requirements:

1. Nationality and Education:

  • Applicants must be foreign nationals with non-Indian passports .
  • They must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 (or equivalent) exams in 2026 . Students who passed Class 12 in 2025 are also eligible.
  • Applicants need to be good at English.

2. Subjects in Class 12:

  • For most B.E. and M.Sc. programs: You must have studied Physics and Mathematics . You also need one more subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject .
  • For B.Pharm. and B.E. Environmental & Sustainability Engineering (with PCB subjects): You must have studied Physics and Biology/Mathematics . You also need one more subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject .
  • If you choose Biology for B.Pharm. instead of Mathematics, your third subject must be Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.

3. Minimum Marks:

  • You need a total of at least 75% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and your third required subject.
  • You must also score a minimum of 60% marks in each of these three subjects separately .
  • If you did not study Chemistry in Class 12, you will complete a special Chemistry course in your first semester.

4. SAT Score:

  • A minimum SAT score of 1160 out of 1600 is required (new format: Reading & Writing + Mathematics).
  • Your SAT exam must be taken on or after February 1, 2024 . Old SAT scores will be converted.
