BITS Design School (BITSDES) has opened admissions for its Bachelor of Design (Honours) program for the 2026-2030 batch. This is a four-year, fully residential course. A total of 180 students will be admitted. The application window is open now, and the deadline to apply is February 1, 2026 .
To join the B.Des program, applicants must clear one of three entrance exams: the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims , UCEED , or the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT) . All candidates, including those using NID-DAT or UCEED scores, must submit their applications by February 1, 2026 . They need to provide their NID-DAT or UCEED roll numbers when applying.
The BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT) is an online exam that lasts one hour. It will take place from March 31 to April 5, 2026 . Only students who applied by February 1, 2026 , can upload their BITSDAT scores. The portal for score uploads will be active from April 8 to April 12, 2026 .
