The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has cancelled the first round seat allotment result for Bihar NEET PG 2025 counselling. This decision was announced today on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in . The board stated that the result was withdrawn due to "technical reasons."

Earlier today, BCECEB had released the Round 1 seat allotment results for PGMAC (Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling) 2025. These results provisionally assigned seats to candidates in various postgraduate medical courses in Bihar. Along with the seat allotment, the board also published a PDF document detailing the opening and closing ranks for the first round.

The withdrawn document contained important information for students. It listed details like the name of the medical institute, the specific branch of study (such as MD or MS), the candidate's category (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS), the type of seat allotted, and the NEET PG opening and closing ranks for different categories. This information helps students understand their position and the competition for seats.

However, shortly after being made public, the results were quickly withdrawn by the board. The official notice on the website clearly stated, "Due to technical reasons, the first round seat allotment result of PGMAC-2025 is hereby withdrawn." This means any results seen earlier are no longer valid.

What Students Should Do Now

For students who participated in Bihar NEET PG 2025 counselling, this update is very important. They should ignore any results they might have viewed today. The ranks and seat allotments previously shared are now incorrect and will be revised. BCECEB has informed all concerned institutions and candidates that a new date for the revised Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced soon.

Students are strongly advised to regularly check the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in , for the latest updates. It is important not to rely on unofficial sources or rumors for such critical information. Any actions based on the withdrawn results, such as preparing for document verification, should be put on hold.

Staying calm and patient is key during this time. The best course of action is to wait for the official revised schedule and results to be published. The board’s prompt action to withdraw results due to technical issues aims to ensure fairness and accuracy in the seat allotment process.

Understanding NEET PG Counselling

The NEET PG counselling process helps medical graduates get admission to postgraduate medical courses. These include degrees like MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery). The process typically involves several steps: candidates first register, then fill in their preferred colleges and courses (known as choice filling), and finally, seats are allotted based on their NEET PG ranks and the choices they made.

The seat allotment result is a crucial stage. It tells students which college and medical course they have been provisionally offered. Getting accurate results is vital for students' academic future, as it determines where they will pursue their higher medical education.

It is expected that the revised results will be published only after all technical problems are resolved. Keeping a close watch on the official website is the only way to stay fully informed about the new dates and procedures. Candidates can also consider setting up official alerts if available, or regularly visiting the website themselves to ensure they get information directly from BCECEB.
