Class 8 students in Bihar's Mainatand block faced a challenging mathematics paper during the recent quarterly examinations. Many students reported difficulty and spent extra time on questions, impacting their ability to complete the exam within the allotted time.
Class 8 Math Paper Proves Difficult
The mathematics exam for Class 8 students on the second day of quarterly exams caused significant concern. Headmistress Priya Kumari of Middle School Inarwa noted that some questions were complex and required careful consideration. This difficulty led to many students struggling to finish the entire paper.
Despite the pressure, students generally remained focused. They worked through the paper with patience until the exam concluded.
Quarterly Exams Conducted Smoothly
The quarterly examinations took place without incident across 132 government schools in the Mainatand block. The exams were held in two shifts daily. Classes 3 to 5 took their mathematics exam in the first shift. Classes 6 to 8 took their mathematics exam in the second shift.
Strict discipline was maintained at all examination centers. Teachers supervised the process closely. Block Education Officer Neeraj Kumar confirmed adherence to all departmental rules. He stated that question papers followed guidelines from the e Shiksakosh portal.
The examinations were conducted in a transparent and peaceful manner. Officials ensured all departmental instructions were followed at each school. While the overall examination system ran smoothly, the difficult Class 8 math paper was a notable point of discussion among students and educators.
