Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is getting ready for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) exams in February 2026. The board has set strict rules to ensure fairness and prevent cheating.
The Intermediate exams will take place from February 2 to February 13, 2026 . The Matric exams are scheduled from February 17 to February 25, 2026 .
All exams will be held in two shifts. The morning shift starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 12:35 PM. The afternoon shift runs from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Students must reach their exam centers before the reporting time to avoid any problems.
Strict Rules for Exams
BSEB has warned students against any unfair practices. If anyone is caught trying to enter the exam hall without permission or engaging in cheating, they will face serious consequences. This includes filing an FIR (First Information Report) against them and being banned from taking BSEB exams for two years.
Tips for Last-Minute Preparation
With the exams just weeks away, students should focus on smart revision. Here are some tips:
- Focus on Important Topics: Pay more attention to chapters that carry high marks or topics you find difficult. Looking at past BSEB question papers can help you understand common question types.
- Practice Old Papers: Solving previous years' question papers helps you get familiar with the exam pattern and manage your time better.
- Use Recommended Books: Stick to NCERT textbooks and other materials suggested by the board. Most questions are based on these.
- Make a Study Schedule: Plan your daily study time, including short breaks. Regular, short study sessions are more effective than studying for long hours at once.
- Practice Writing Answers: For subjects that require written answers, practice writing them within the time limit. This will help improve your handwriting and speed. Writing neat and organized answers can get you more marks.
- Use Available Resources: The board is introducing an AI chatbot this year to help students with exam-related questions. Use it if you need clarification.
Important Reminders
- Double-check all the details on your BSEB admit card.
- Reach your exam center at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Keep all your necessary stationery ready the night before each exam.
- Stay calm and focused in the days leading up to your exams. This can significantly improve your performance.
