The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has set strict rules for students taking the Class 12 exams in 2026. The exams will start on February 2, 2026 . All students must reach the exam centre on time, as latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
The BSEB Class 12 exams will be held from February 2 to February 13, 2026 . These exams will take place in all districts of Bihar at various exam centres.
Exam Entry Timings
To ensure smooth exams and prevent last-minute rush, the Board has released specific entry timings for students. There are two shifts for the exams.
First Shift
Students can enter the exam centre from 8:30 AM . However, the main gate of the exam centre will close at 9:00 AM . The exam for the first shift will begin at 9:30 AM.
Second Shift
For the second shift, students can enter the centre from 1:00 PM . The main gate will close at 1:30 PM . The exam for the second shift will start at 2:00 PM.
Important Instructions for Students
The BSEB has clearly stated that no student will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the gate closes, regardless of the reason. Students who arrive late will be responsible for missing the exam.
The Board advises all students to reach their allotted exam centres at least one hour before the scheduled exam time. This will help them avoid any inconvenience and ensure they enter the centre on time.
Parents, guardians, and exam centre officials have also been asked to follow these instructions strictly to ensure the exams run smoothly and with discipline.
