Important Guidelines for Students and Schools
The Bihar Board has given clear instructions for both students and schools regarding the admit cards and exams. Following these rules is important for everyone.
For Schools:
- School heads must download all admit cards from the board's website.
- They must check each student's details carefully.
- Principals need to sign and put the school seal on every admit card.
- Then, they must give the admit cards to all eligible students.
For Students:
- Students must carry their signed admit card to the exam center.
- This is needed for both the practical exams and the main theory exams.
- Without a valid admit card, students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Who Will Get an Admit Card?
Admit cards are issued only to students who are eligible and have passed their 'sent-up' exams. This means they have met the school's attendance and academic requirements.
Who Will NOT Get an Admit Card?
- Students who did not pass their 'sent-up' exams.
- Students who were expelled from school.
- Students who failed in previous exams or were absent for mandatory tests.
The Board has warned schools that strict action will be taken if any school gives an admit card to a student who is not eligible. Schools must be very careful to avoid such errors.
No Changes After Admit Card Release
The BSEB has clearly stated that no changes can be made to the admit card once it is issued. Students must check all details like their name, parent's name, date of birth, photo, and subjects very carefully as soon as they receive it. If there is any mistake, they should inform their school immediately, but major changes might not be possible after the release date.
Exam centers will strictly check all admit cards. If the information on a student's admit card does not match the board's official records, that student will not be allowed to sit for the exams. This rule is in place to ensure fairness and prevent any unfair means.
Help for Disabled Students (Divyang)
Students with disabilities (Divyang candidates) who cannot write their exams on their own can get a writer (scribe). This facility follows government rules. To get a scribe, such students must apply through their school. The application must be made at least one week before the start of the examination. Schools should help these students with the application process to ensure they receive the necessary support during the exams.
