Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened registration for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-2027 academic session. The application process is for BA, BSc, and BCom programs. Eligibility requires a valid Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate score. The application deadline is July 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM .
How to Apply
Interested students must visit the official BHU admission portal at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Navigate to the "Apply Now" section and select "New Registration." Applicants will need to provide their CUET UG application number, roll number, email address, full name, mobile number, and date of birth to register.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload scanned copies of several documents. These include marksheets and certificates for 10th and 12th grade. A category certificate is required if applicable, such as SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD or for BHU employees. Additional supporting documents or marksheets may also be necessary.
Seat Allocation Process
BHU will conduct seat allocation through the Combined Allotment Program – Undergraduate 2026 (CAP-UG 2026). This process is expected to begin within a week of the application closing. BHU's Central Education Committee will release a separate notification detailing the CAP-UG 2026 schedule. Seat assignments will be based on CUET UG scores, candidate preferences, and available seats.
