AUD Launches 5 New Courses, 1-Year PG Programs for 2026-27

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) will launch five new undergraduate courses and seven one-year postgraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic session. Admissions for over 3,000 seats across 78 programs will be conducted through CUET-UG, CUET-PG, and NCET.

New Academic Programs

The university announced the additions at a press conference on its Kashmere Gate campus. New undergraduate courses include a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management. This program is among the first of its kind at the university level in India. AUD will also introduce a BA in Visual Arts. The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Mathematics program has been restructured. It will now include a minor in data science and artificial intelligence.

New postgraduate programs include a Master of Arts (MA) in Creative Writing and an MA in Performing Arts, focusing on Theatre Arts. These courses are also being introduced starting this session.

One-Year Postgraduate Programs

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, AUD is introducing one-year postgraduate programs. These programs will be available in disciplines such as Psychology, English, Hindi, Economics, Sociology, History, and Political Science. AUD is among the first institutions nationally to offer such programs.

Graduates with a four-year BA degree from any university are eligible to apply for these one-year PG programs. Admissions will be based on CUET-PG scores.

Admissions Timeline

The postgraduate admissions process will begin soon. Undergraduate admissions will follow the announcement of CUET-UG results. The university will release a detailed information bulletin with admission schedules and application procedures on its official website, aud.delhi.gov.in.

Financial Aid for Students

AUD provides financial assistance to its students. Students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories will receive a 100% fee waiver. Graded fee waivers are available for economically disadvantaged students.
