A major initiative is the partnership with the **Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika)**. This Design Intervention Project aims to empower women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) through design innovation and skill building.
During a two-month period, over **35** ARCH design students collaborated with **six** artisan groups. These groups were from **Bagru, Dausa, and Sanganer**. The students and artisans together created **20** product prototypes and **10** packaging design solutions.
These new designs covered textiles, interior items, and jewellery. This project helped students understand real-world production processes, entrepreneurship, and the strategic role of design.
Support for Student Startups
ARCH College also supports student entrepreneurs through its Design Business Incubator. This incubator helps students develop their innovative design ideas into viable businesses.
The incubator provides resources and guidance, fostering a culture of creativity, entrepreneurship, and leadership among students. It helps them launch their own ventures in the design industry.
