AMU CUET UG Admission Lists 2023 Released

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) released its undergraduate admission lists for courses offered through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) on November 18, 2023 . Students registered for AMU counseling can check their status via the official website.

AMU utilizes normalized CUET subject scores for its admission process. This differs from universities that declare raw cutoff scores. The university releases a "Firm List" for provisionally selected candidates and a "Chance Memo List" for those on the waiting list. Candidates on the Firm List must complete seat acceptance and document verification online within the specified timeframe to confirm their admission. Failure to do so forfeits their seat, allowing waitlisted candidates to be promoted.

• Click on the "Display of Firm Admission Lists" link.
• Under the general admission list for undergraduates, select "Through CUET UG."
• Choose your course faculty to download the firm list in PDF format.
• Locate your CUET roll number in the downloaded PDF.
• If selected, proceed with the online fee payment.

Expected Cut-Off Ranges for AMU CUET UG 2023

AMU assesses candidates based on normalized CUET subject scores for various undergraduate programs, including B.A. (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons), and B.Voc. Cut-off ranges can vary significantly between male and female candidates. The following are the expected cut-off ranges for Unreserved (UR) categories out of a total of 250 marks:

Candidates in the OBC, SC, and ST categories have different expected cut-off ranges. For B.A./B.Sc. (Hons) programs, the OBC category expects a range of 145-178, while the SC/ST category expects 110-155 for both boys and girls.
