The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the schedule for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XXII. Registration opens on August 19, 2026 . The examination is set for November 29, 2026 .
AIBE XXII 2026 Schedule
The official website, allindiabarexamination.com, will host the registration portal. Candidates must register online to be eligible for the exam. The registration period closes on October 27, 2026 . Following this, the last date for online payment is October 28, 2026 . Corrections to registration forms can be made until October 30, 2026 .
Admit cards will be available for download starting November 14, 2026 . The AIBE XXII examination itself is scheduled for Sunday, November 29, 2026 . A tentative date for the result declaration is between January 7 and January 10, 2027 .
The BCI also announced results for AIBE 21. The overall pass percentage for the AIBE 21 examination was 65.92% .
AIBE 22 Exam Details
The AIBE is a mandatory examination for law graduates. Those in their final year of LLB or who have completed their law degree are eligible. Passing the AIBE is a requirement to practice law in India.
The examination will be conducted offline. It has a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates will answer 100 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer is worth one mark. There is no negative marking.
