About the Job
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Junior Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services. The role requires good coding skills, understanding of APIs, databases, and exposure to cloud deployment and support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications and backend services on GCP
Work with services like Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub
Build and integrate REST APIs
Support debugging, testing, deployment, and performance improvements
Assist in CI/CD pipeline activities and release support
Work with logs, monitoring tools, and cloud resources for issue resolution
Collaborate with product, QA, and technical teams
Prepare basic technical documentation
Required Skills
1–5 years of development experience
Good knowledge of Java, Python, or Node.js
Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and SQL
Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Docker and cloud deployments
Exposure to Firebase, Kubernetes, or Terraform
Basic understanding of IAM, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring
Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Certifications
Google Cloud certification such as Associate Cloud Engineer is a plus
