About the Internship
Media Tribe is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and also has working knowledge of website platforms like WordPress and Shopify. You will gain hands-on experience in optimising websites, improving search visibility, and working closely with developers and content teams.**Key Responsibilities**
1. Assist in on-page and technical SEO activities across client websites
2. Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking
3. Support keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimisation
4. Work on WordPress and Shopify websites for SEO implementation
5. Assist in website audits including site speed, mobile optimisation, and basic technical SEO
6. Coordinate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly execution
7. Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
8. Maintain SEO trackers and support basic reporting
9. Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Basic understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)
- Working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced agency environment
