About the Internship

*Utpatti Fellowship*

The *Utpatti Fellowship* is a 12-month finishing program designed for students who want to build real industry skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and live projects. Unlike traditional finishing schools, this program pays you instead of charging fees.

Designed for 1st and 2nd year students, the program focuses on learning by doing. Participants work on real products with real teams and grow into industry-ready professionals while still in college.

*The Program*

The Utpatti Fellowship bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Over 12 months, participants progress from learning fundamentals to executing real projects, while gaining exposure to how modern software products are designed, built, and delivered.

*The Journey*

*Phase 1: Selection & Onboarding*
Assessment of intent, curiosity, and readiness to learn.

*Phase 2: Foundation Phase (4–8 weeks)*
Hands-on learning of fundamentals, tools, and workflows. No classrooms—only real tasks, feedback, and 1:1 mentorship.

*Phase 3: Live Project Phase (10–11 months)*
Work on real industry projects with mentors, deliver production-ready work, and build a strong, visible portfolio.

*Phase 4: Completion*
Certification, performance evaluation, and recommendations.

*Mentorship*

Each participant will be assigned a dedicated mentor from *MIT, Kolkata*, with a strong educational background, to guide them throughout the program.

### *Industry Exposure*

Participants will gain hands-on experience by working across multiple companies, including:

* Mitt Arv
* Scambuster
* EXT India
* Utpatti

---

*Mandatory In-Office Experience*
A mandatory in-office phase (minimum 3 months), typically during semester breaks, ensures deeper exposure to teamwork, execution, and professional culture. Certification will be awarded only upon completion of this requirement.

*Commitments*

* 20 hours per week
* One week of paid exam leave per semester
* INR 60,000 stipend for the full program
* INR 6,000 bonus upon successful completion of the foundation phase
