About the Internship
As a Global Volunteer, you will work on social impact projects aligned with one or more Sustainable Development Goals. Volunteers collaborate with local NGOs, educational institutions, and community partners to design and deliver initiatives that raise awareness, educate communities, or support sustainable development activities.Projects typically focus on areas such as:
1. Education and youth development
2. Gender equality
3. Climate action and environmental protection
4. Community development and inclusion
5. Sustainable tourism and local economic growth
6. Marine and biodiversity conservation
All projects are designed to create local impact while developing leadership and global citizenship among participants.
Key Responsibilities: these vary depending on the project and host organization but may include
1. Community Engagement
- Work with NGOs, schools, or local communities to deliver social impact initiatives.
- Conduct workshops, awareness campaigns, or educational sessions on relevant social issues.
2. Project Implementation
- Plan and execute activities aligned with specific SDGs (e.g., education, sustainability, gender equality).
- Organize events, training sessions, or community outreach initiatives.
3. Research & Content Development
- Conduct research on local issues related to the project theme.
- Create educational materials, presentations, and awareness content.
4 Collaboration
- Work alongside international volunteers and local stakeholders.
- Support community projects and partner organizations in achieving program objectives.
Examples of activities include:
1. Teaching or facilitating learning sessions for students.
2. Running awareness campaigns on climate change or sustainability.
3. Delivering workshops on skills development or career guidance.
4. Supporting local tourism or community development initiatives.
Program duration is typically 6–8 weeks, depending on the project and host organization.

Support Provided: participants receive support from the AIESEC network before and during the experience, including
1. Assistance with visa and travel preparation
2. Cultural preparation and onboarding
3. Arrival support and accommodation guidance
4. Defined project roles and expectations
5. Food & accommodation are covered by AIESEC.
Important note: Students will bear the rest of the expenses (visa, flights, and in-country travel), estimated to be between 70,000 - 1,50,000
AIESEC representatives in both the home and host countries provide ongoing support throughout the experience.
