About the Internship
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring security alerts, logs, and events using security monitoring or SIEM platforms.
Support initial analysis and investigation of potential security incidents.
Assist with vulnerability assessment and authorized penetration-testing activities.
Perform basic security testing of applications, APIs, networks, and systems in controlled environments.
Research common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, CVEs, and attack techniques.
Assist in identifying security weaknesses and recommending appropriate remediation measures.
Support security audits, risk assessments, and security hygiene activities.
Document vulnerabilities, findings, observations, and remediation recommendations.
Prepare basic security assessment, incident, and technical reports.
Assist with threat intelligence and cybersecurity research.
Learn and apply security frameworks and best practices such as OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and responsible security-testing principles.
Collaborate with senior cybersecurity professionals and other technical teams.
Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable cybersecurity policies, authorization requirements, and ethical guidelines.
