A Box of Stories is a book subscription startup that operates across the UK and USA, and is now expanding into India.
We build personalised book subscriptions, curated themed boxes, and ambitious editorial projects like the Box - designed to create deeper, more immersive reading experiences.  

ABoS is backed by Founder’s Factory, one of Europe’s most prestigious early-stage VCs.  Serial founders Dhruv and Aasha have over 20 years of experience in Media and IP  Creation and are now taking this cultural startup to the world.  

Content Intern – About the Role
The Content Intern works at the intersection of storytelling, brand, and growth. You will work closely with the marketing and founding team to shape how ABoS shows up across email, social media, and brand touchpoints. This is a high-ownership role where content is not just communication, it is the product, the experience, and the reason people stay.

What You’ll Work On
Content Creation & Storytelling
Write engaging, brand-aligned content across formats- email, social, and web
Develop storytelling-led campaigns that build anticipation, curiosity, and community
Translate book themes and brand ideas into compelling narratives

Email & Campaigns
Assist in building and executing email campaigns on Klaviyo
Write email copy for launches, teasers, and retention flows
Experiment with subject lines, hooks, and storytelling formats

Social Media & Brand Presence
Create and schedule social media content across platforms
Contribute to content calendars and campaign ideas
Identify trends and adapt them to the ABoS brand voice
Design & Visual Content
Design creatives using Canva for emails, social posts, and marketing assets
Ensure consistency in visual storytelling and brand identity

What We’re Looking For
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
A natural sense of storytelling and curiosity about books, culture, and ideas
Familiarity with tools like Canva and Klaviyo (or willingness to learn quickly)
Interest in email marketing, copywriting, and social media
Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced, remote environment
