About the Internship
Selected intern’s day‑to‑day responsibilities include:1. Performing daily crop care tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including seeding, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting, while staying hands-on in the field.
2. Monitoring farm systems - such as pumps, lighting, nutrient solutions, and water levels - and promptly flagging any irregularities.
3. Conducting regular plant health inspections to detect stress, pests, or disease and taking proactive steps to maintain healthy growth.
4. Upholding strict farm hygiene by cleaning tools, tidying workspaces, and sanitizing equipment as required - hygiene is non-negotiable.
5. Logging data on plantings, harvest quantities, and losses in field records; tracking progress and reporting metrics as instructed.
