Admission Process
The Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan has appointed Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur to conduct the centralized admission process namely LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering Programme) for the academic session 2024-25.
Candidates will have to fill online application for registration cum option form for seeking admission through Lateral Entry to 2nd year BE/B.Tech courses only through LEEP-2024 Portal.
Candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) online through LEEP-2024 web portal (by means of Net banking, ATM card, Debit Card, Credit Card, e-Mitra) against application cum registration fee (neither refundable nor transferable/adjustable against any other counseling including LEEP in future.
Priority of Admission:
Admission to the candidates will be given as per the following order of preference: -
- Candidates having passed Diploma from Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur.
- Bona-fide residents of Rajasthan (on submission of Certificate from competent authority) having either passed diploma from institutions located in Rajasthan and considered equivalent by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur or from Board of Technical Education in other States/ UGC approved Universities.
- Candidates not covered in point (2) as above, having passed Diploma from State Boards of Technical Education outside Rajasthan/ UGC approved Universities.
- Candidates having passed B.Sc. from UGC approved Universities in Rajasthan with mathematics as a subject in 10+2.
- Candidates having passed B.Sc. from Universities of other state recognized by UGC with mathematics as a subject in 10+2.
- Passed D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector from Board of Technical Education /UGC approved Universities.
- Candidates having passed B.E./B. Tech. in any branch of Engineering and Technology from AICTE/UGC approved Universities in Rajasthan.
- Candidates having passed B.E./B. Tech in any branch of Engineering and Technology from Universities of other state recognized by AICTE/UGC.
M.Tech 1st Year
Admission Process
Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan has appointed Bikaner Technical University to conduct the centralized admission process namely CAM (Centralized Admission for M.Tech./M.Arch.) for the academic session 2024-25.
Admission will be based on valid and eligible GATE Score of the year 2022-2024 preferably. However, candidate without GATE score but possessing B.E./B.Tech. degree or equivalent can also apply. For more details, visit CAM website- https://btu.ac.in/home/CAM-2024-158
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent at least with 55% aggregate marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 point scale equivalent (50% aggregate marks or 5.75 CGPA on 10 point scale for ST/ SC candidates) from RTU, Kota or any other recognized University/Institution.
In addition to above, other eligibility criteria are given below:
- Candidate with qualification obtained through examination conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD/UGC/AIU/UPSC/AICTE {e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India); IEE} as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech
- Candidate having M.Sc., MCA degree, should possess a valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch.

In addition to the above, the following supernumerary seat is to be allotted by the coordinator CAM-2024 on the basis of merit and choices (branch/college) filled in CAM Application form.
KM (Kashmiri Migrants): Additional 5% seats of the sanctioned intake are reserved for the candidates belonging to Kashmiri Pandits/ Kashmiri Hindu families (non-migrants) and for Kashmiri migrants. A migrant certificate is required at the time of admission.
