St. Francis College for Women was established in 1959 as an autonomous college of Osmania University and offers courses in the field of science, humanities, commerce, and vocational studies.

  • The application form for admission in Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes are available on the official website of the college at sfc.ac.in
  • The application fee for admissions would be paid through online mode only.
  • For admission in B.Sc., the candidate must have passed class XII from a recognized board with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate. The candidate must have studied English as the mandatory subject along with Physical and Biological Science/ Mathematics.
  • For admission in B.A. and B. Voc., the candidate must have passed class XII with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate in class XII from a recognized board.

  • Admissions in all the courses apart from BMS are provided on the basis of merit.
  • Admissions in BMS are provided on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the college.

Admission in Under Graduate Programmes:

  • Admissions are provided on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates applying for admission in BMS must qualify the written test conducted by the college and must possess a minimum of 70 percent aggregate in English during class XII board examination.
  • Candidates who are applying for admission in BSc must have passed class XII with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate. The candidate must have studied any of the following subjects- Physical Science/ Biological Science and Mathematics.
  • Candidates who are applying for admission in B.Com. must have passed class XII with a minimum of 60-70 percent aggregate in class XII and must have studied relevant subjects in the qualifying degree.
  • Candidates who have passed class XII from boards other than AP, ICSE and CBSE must submit their eligibility certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education.
  • Candidates who have studied Telugu until class X and had Telugu as the second language in class XII shall opt for Telugu as the second language in the Degree courses.
  • BMS entrance test is a 2-hour long test which is conducted in an offline mode.

As the name says that this college is for the girls only and therefore only girls can take admission here and from 2014 to 2016 I have studied here and the admission was done here on the result of my bachelor degree and the subject in which I have done the degree was Organic Chemistry.

Taking admission in this college is not that much simple as it looks because you need to have 75% marks in the graduation and only after that you will get admission and the annual fees is also high in this colleg which is Rs 66000 per year and this college is affiliated to Osmania University

This college of mine is affiliated with the Osmania University and it is especially for the girls it is not a co-ed college. I have received admission here on the basis of the Interview and also the 12th Board result of mine and I have selected Physics as the subject of the BSc In this college, everything is best whether it is academics or any other Thing.
