Roorkee College of Engineering is located in Roorkee, Uttrakhand. The college was established in 2010.
Roorkee College of Engineering offers undergraduate and postgraduate in Engineering under various disciplines. This gives the students a variety of options to choose from. RCE also offers Lateral Entry admission to B.Tech program at the undergraduate level and diploma in various courses.
Candidates can apply to the various programs in college through online as well as offline mode.

Admission in undergraduate courses
Roorkee College of Engineering offers various courses like B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral, B.Sc., BCom, BBA, BA at the undergraduate level. The college offers B.Tech program in seven disciplines and B.Sc. in two disciplines.
Admission to the B.Tech. Course will be on the basis of the marks scored in JEE MAINS whereas admission in B.Sc. and the other programmes is based on the merit of Senior Secondary School Examination.
Admission in postgraduate courses
RCE Courses include M.Tech in three disciplines. Admission to this course will be on the basis of the GATE score obtained by the students.
Admission in Diploma courses
The college offers Diploma in three disciplines and Lateral entry diploma programme at the undergraduate level. The admission in this course will be on the basis of marks scored by the student in class 10th examination.
In order to get admission in these courses the students should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of the College. The students must visit the website and read the instructions carefully.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Courses
For admission in B.Tech the student must have passed senior secondary school from a recognized University and should have a valid score in JEE MAINS.
For admission in B.Sc the student must have passed senior secondary school with PCM or PCB.
For admission in all the other undergraduate courses offered by the college the student must have passed senior secondary school with equivalent marks from a recognized University.
Postgraduate Courses
Students willing to take admission in M.Tech programme of the college must have a bachelors’ degree in relevant subject. The students also have a pass a University online entrance test Examination.
Application Procedure
The students willing to take admission in the college can apply for the programmes through both the offline as well as the online mode. The application form should be filled carefully after reading all the instructions mentioned in the website of the college.
Steps to fill the form online:
- Visit the official website of RCE.
- Click on ‘Registration 2019-20’
- Click on the course you want to apply for.
- On clicking, the registration form will appear on the screen.
- Fill all the personal details correctly in the application form.
- Submit the details.
- Pay the requisite amount of application fee through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
- Click on ‘Submit’ button.
- After submitting the form take a printout of the same for future references.
For offline mode the students will have to obtain the form from the college campus and submit it after filling all the necessary details.

THE FACULTIES ARE BEST AND SOME OF THEM ARE FROM IIT-ROORKEE,KHARAGPUR. the infrastucture is also nice. the faculty are experinced and have good behaviour. the environment is best.both indoor and outdoor are held for students. the hostel infrastucture is also best .wifi with 100 mbps link is available in laptop for education purpose. seniors are friendly and cooperative and even they help the juniors .it is a ragging free campus. ATM facility in available in college .technical fest are conducted evey year during the time of utkarsh(college fest).college also go for industrial visit for specific branch seperately.canteen is sub divided into two major parts veg and non-veg respectively. 5/5
